A longtime client of Atronic Alarms, Clinical Reference Laboratory, wanted to provide additional security to employees throughout their campus of buildings in Lenexa, Kansas. The goal was to set up two-way interactive voice stations in the parking lots to provide assistance in emergency situations.
Atronic Alarms designed a system to include stand-alone pedestals in areas of the parking lot where quick access could be granted in case of emergencies. A camera was then mounted at the top of each pedestal with motion activated recording.
The result is an interactive system that contacts the on-call security guards who can talk directly to the pedestrian who triggered the signal. The guards can then contact the central monitoring station if further assistance is required.
