In late August, Atronic Alarms finalized the acquisition of American Detection Specialists, Inc. (ADSI), a respected security system company in Springfield, Missouri.
Bryan Morris, owner of ADSI, took over the company after his father and company founder, Jim Morris, passed away in 2011 after providing security solutions in SW Missouri for three decades. Bryan’s goal of finding a supporting company who could enhance customer support and quality of service became realistic when he met Neil Atha, Vice President of Atronic Alarms.
“We knew of Atronic’s high reputation,” Morris said, who started with ADSI in 1993. “Since they are also a family-owned company they have the same values and business ethics as ADSI.”
Morris felt that the combined companies would be the perfect fit for the ADSI team and their clients. Morris and the ADSI staff will continue operations in Springfield under the Atronic Alarms brand.
Perry Atha, President and Founder of Atronic Alarms, started the company in 1982 in Kansas City. His son, Neil, came on board in 2011 as Vice President. Neil quickly took over the day-to-day operations of the company.
“Bryan and his team have been wonderful to work with,” said Atha, “Our goal is to maintain and enhance the quality of service their clients expect, and to provide them with the latest products, technology and support available.”
Atronic Alarms is a midwest leader in security, fire, smart home automation, cameras and access control with locations in Kansas City and Omaha.
“We’re proud of the fact that we have seen steady growth over the years without losing quality,” Neil said. “Aside from securing our customers electronically, maintaining exceptional customer service is important to us. We are looking forward to growing relationships in the Springfield and Branson areas.”
Home Automation systems turn your home into a “Smart Home” by communicating with you and saving you time, energy, and money. This technology, called Smart Home Technology or Smart Home Systems, is now more affordable than ever.
HOME SECURITY & FIRE PROTECTION
On your way to work and forgot to arm your security system? You can arm it immediately from your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. Set it up to receive a text-message notification any time your carbon-monoxide or smoke detectors indicate an emergency or if someone else has armed or disarmed it.
MOTION DETECTION
Use the motion-detection settings to have your camera record anyone who enters the house and then send alerts to your phone, or set your system to turn lights on when you walk into a room.
DOORS AND GARAGE DOORS
Lock or unlock exterior doors, so you can let someone in, even when you are not, and eliminate the need to rush home to verify that you locked the door on your way out. Open or close your garage door, or check status of door while away.
NON-EMERGENCY TEXTS
Receive a text message any time a signal is triggered in your house, such as from a liquor cabinet or pool gate opening.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENTS
Adjust your temperature from your phone, or set automatic adjustments at certain times during the day. Wake up to a warm house in the winter, and lower the temperature after you leave for work. A real energy and money saver. You can also adjust it with a touch of a button on your phone.
PEACE OF MIND
You know your home is protecting itself and your loved ones 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — and with a Smart Home Automation System from Atronic Alarms you have the ability to communicate with it at any time.
