Telephone Backup for Your Alarm System
Monitoring your home security alarm system through a telephone line is still one of the most reliable methods for the central monitoring station to receive signals. However, if an intruder cuts your phone line, or the telephone lines go down in your neighborhood because of storms or other natural causes, the alarm signal cannot get through without phone back up.
What if your telephone lines go down? Or, what if you don't have a telephone line at the property you want to be monitored?
Atronic Alarms recommends Global Sytems through Mobile Communications, or GSM units, which allows the signals to be sent through a wireless communication network to the central station.
Atronic Alarms provides several GSM options for monitoring your security and fire system to either provide a telephone backup system, or if telephones are not available.
