Neighborhood Watch Programs Provide another layer to your home and business security
The Neighborhood Watch program was started in 1972 by the National Sheriff's Association to assist citizens and law enforcement. They consider it "homeland security at the local level."
Today there are many communities, and businesses, involved with neighborhood watch programs. If you are interested in starting up a neighborhood watch in your area of residence or business, there are many resources on the web to assist you. One excellent link is the USA on Watch web site, which was launched in 2002 and is now affiliated with the Neighborhood watch program.
On this site you will be able to register your watch group as well as find useful information on where to find signs and stickers for your neighborhood.
Below are some publications that USA on Watch distributes, and we have placed them here for your convenience.
